On Sundays, a variety of vendors load up their homemade arts, crafts and eats and head over to The Factory at Franklin. (They are also there on Wednesdays and the big Farmer's Market is held on Saturdays).
It was a great time!! The day was sunny, cool and perfect.
There were a variety of venders who were selling their beautiful hand-crafted jewelry, sweets and sourdough treats.
For many of you who love high quality produce and meat, Roan Creek Farms, a local boutique farm, was one of my favorites. Chef Estrella Rosenberg and partner Craig grow organic, chemical-free fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers and raise pastured animals on their 32 acre woodland farm.
I purchased the most beautiful flowers from writer and gardener, Melissa McKay, of Melmac Florals.
While I do my best to limit my sweets intake, I couldn't resist trying goodies by Kneading to Bake, since the name felt like a soul sister to A Knead for Wellness. Baker Monique Germaine was so friendly and inviting as well.
I also tried goodies and visited Sweet Peas Bake Shop, Sourdough Love, Nutty & Nice and LavenderGirl TN booths. There were also several others that were selling more fresh veggies and crafts.
Go check them out next week!
